Jasper, Albama has a minute population of 15,000. It was once one of the world's leading producers of coal. There are several senators, businessmen, and actors from Jasper, and it is not an insignificant city from the point of view of the people that came from it. For example, it was even mentioned on the television show, Lost. It is not just another small city in Alabama.
